About Me

A few bits about me!

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me! I was born and raised in BC and have also lived in Alberta and New Brunswick, but I happily relocated to Kamloops in 2021. I am a mom of one precious 8 year old boy and have a husband that I love to the ends of this earth. My son is on the Autism spectrum, which in turn has changed my life for the better. I have learned a type of patience and understanding that not everyone possesses. As a result of being in the Autism community, I have experience working with other children on the spectrum as well. I also have experience working with a wide range of other diversabilities such as OCD, TBI's, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia, and Schizophrenia.

All of my life, taking photos has always been a priority. I asked for cameras for Christmas, and I was always the one buying disposable cameras and bringing them everywhere. I’ve ALWAYS been the one taking photos, even when they weren’t necessarily any good haha! I was even quite obsessed with our family video camera! I put my whole heart and soul into it, it gets 100% of my focus, pun intended!

Photographs have always had a special place in my heart, more so than the average person. It’s because they freeze a moment in time that can never be recreated again. They are our memories. A sweet embrace with your significant other, your brand new baby squeezing your finger, hugging your Grandmother before she is gone. Life is fleeting. Take the time to capture the special moments in your life, it is worth the investment. You don’t really realize how important photos are until they are all you have left. The funnest part is turning these memories into works of ART!
